BREAKFAST ROLL UPS
We have been making breakfast for dinner at least once a week here and 4/5 kids are happy about it. You can’t please them all.
What I love about these is they are savory with the cheese, egg, and sausage with a slight hint of sweet from the crescent roll. You can even dip them in syrup if you like.
HOW TO MAKE BREAKFAST ROLL UPS
-
Preheat oven to 375. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease it.
-
In a medium skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the eggs and cook until softly scrambled. Add salt and pepper to taste. Set aside.
-
Unroll crescent dough and place on prepared pan. Place one slice of cheese on the wide part of each triangle of dough. Divide scrambled eggs evenly on top of the cheese slices. Add one sausage link on top. Roll up crescent dough and place seam side down.
-
Bake for 15 minutes or until dough is slightly golden brown.

These are so simple to make and delicious. My family loves them but especially my 2 year old son 😉
thank you!
If you were to freeze these would you scramble the egg cook the sausage and then put on your crescent roll with the cheese roll up and then freeze or bake and then freeze.
You could do it either way honestly
Should I cook the links first.
They should be cooked already. If they’re frozen, thaw them.
How can you store these? Freezer?
Sure!
I guess I’m late to the party, but it never occured to me to combine these things together.
This was an excellent idea and my entire family loved them. I undercooked my scrambled eggs just a bit so they firmed up in the oven. I served these with grits and fruit. But these would be good with hashbrowns too!
Yes would be great with hashbrowns
