PERFECTLY GRILLED PORK TENDERLOIN
In the hierarchy of meat eaten in our household it’s definitely beef at the top, then chicken, and lastly pork. Why does pork get the bottom spot? To be honest, I usually associate pork with dry, chewy meat. Not this pork.
It’s super moist and flavorful. This pork tenderloin is such a fast meal.
For those of you watching your girlish figures, each serving (3 ounces) is 171 calories.
It’s a lean cut of meat and affordable compared to beef tenderloin.
The marinade ingredients are simple. Olive oil, garlic, Dijon mustard, oregano, and salt and pepper.
This dinner is honestly so good with great flavor and a simple recipe. Often the pork rub has sweet flavors but I love that this is a savory one.
The grilling process does not have to be intimidating. For a large gathering, I like to present it on a huge serving platter.
PORK TENDERLOIN
You can find pork tenderloin in your meat section. It is a long lean piece of meat and usually comes with two per package. There are many cuts of pork and this is by far the most tender meat. This is not to be confused with a pork loin roast!
HOW TO MAKE THIS
- Heat the gas grill to medium-high heat and oil the grill grates.
- On a cutting board, cut pork crosswise with a sharp knife into 1/4 inch thick diagonal slices.
- Combine olive oil and next 5 ingredients, rub over pork, coating well.
- Grill pork 1 to 2 minutes on each side on the preheated grill or until done and internal temperature has reached 145 degrees F. Let the pork rest a few minutes. Serve immediately. Don’t overcook.
WHEN IS MY PORK DONE?
According to the USDA pork is safe to eat when the internal temperature measured by an instant-read thermometer reads 145 degrees F. For best results, do not overcook.

I just use a Cutco sharpener.
I was just thinking that it is getting close to BBQ season. I’m a pork fan and will certainly try this.

It’s hard not to gets stuck on mojo pork, but this one looks great. I’ll be trying a tenderloin with this recipe and another with Walkers Jerk.
We’ve been stuck on the Mojo for awhile and finally were able to break away and try something new. We loved this!!! Thanks for sharing this great recipe:)
