Spinach Soufflé Recipe

This spinach side dish is cheesy and full of eggs because it’s a soufflé. If you’re looking for a super easy and tasty side dish for a special occasion or a weeknight dinner, this is it!spinach, cream cheese, eggs, and monterey jack

INGREDIENTS

  • FROZEN SPINACH – It’s important to squeeze as much excess water as you can out of the spinach after it’s thawed. You could use fresh spinach and cook it down in a pan.
  • CREAM CHEESE
  • MONTEREY JACK CHEESE – You can really use any cheese here. Mozzarella, cheddar, or even a spicy Pepper Jack would be good.
  • LARGE EGGS
  • PARMESAN
  • BUTTER – We melt butter and add it to the mixture for flavor.
  • GARLIC – We use fresh garlic but you could use garlic powder as well.
  • SALT

HOW TO MAKE SPINACH SOUFFLE

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and grease a 9″ baking dish with cooking spray, square or round.
  2. In a large bowl, add all of the ingredients and stir together well. Pour spinach mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  3. Bake souffle dish for 35-45 minutes or until the center is set. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge.
