CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER RITZ CRACKERS
I know. Do you really need a recipe for these? It’s like giving a recipe for graham crackers dipped in frosting or a ham and cheese sandwich. Simple yet delicious.
I remember when I first had these. It was 2005 and my friend Brooke gave them to me for Christmas. I inhaled them. When I asked for the recipe I couldn’t believe how simple they were. Crackers, peanut butter, chocolate. A sweet and salty combo made in heaven.
INGREDIENTS:
- Ritz crackers
- Peanut butter
- Chocolate
- (optional) – white chocolate for drizzling
HOW TO THIN OUT THE CHOCOLATE
Dipping the Ritz crackers can sometimes be tricky depending on the kind of chocolate you use. If you need to thin out the chocolate you can add a tablespoon of butter, coconut oil, or shortening to smooth it out and make it a thinner consistency.
VARIATIONS
- Dip in white chocolate.
- Use crunchy peanut butter.
- Add sprinkles on top of the dipped crackers.
- Drizzle with white chocolate or almond bark to make them fancy.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Ritz Crackers
Ingredients
- 60 Ritz crackers
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 2 1/2 cups semi-sweet or milk chocolate chips
- (optional) butter, coconut oil, or shortening to thin out the chocolate
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread about 1/2 tablespoon of peanut butter on one cracker and top with another cracker. Refrigerate the peanut butter for easier dipping.
- Melt chocolate chips in 30 second intervals in the microwave, stirring in between. If you want it thinner you can add a tablespoon of butter, shortening, or coconut oil to the mixture. Dip each sandwich cookie in the chocolate. You can dip it all the way or halfway. Add sprinkles if desired. Refrigerate until firm.
