CINNAMON KETO PORK RINDS
If you would have asked me a couple of months ago if I would ever eat pork rinds I would have said heck no. Here’s the thing. My husband has been making these Cinnamon Keto Pork Rinds and they really do taste just like a churro!
WHAT ARE PORK RINDS?
Pork rinds are the fried or roasted skin of a pig. They are high in fat and protein and have zero carbs which make them a great Keto snack.
ARE PORK RINDS AND CHICHARRONES THE SAME THING?
Chicharrones are the same as pork rinds!
ARE PORK RINDS HEALTHY?
Pork rinds are a savory, low-carb snack which makes them excellent for the Keto diet.
What is erythritol?
Erythritol is a natural sugar alternative such as Monkfruit or Swerve. These are sold at most grocery stores, Costco, and amazon.
If are not doing Keto and just want to make regular Cinnamon pork rinds, use regular sugar.
OTHER WAYS TO EAT THESE
- KETO CEREAL – The one thing people eating Keto complain about is not being able to eat cereal. Guess what? If you crumble these up in a bowl and add almond milk you have Keto Cereal.
- KETO FRIED ICE CREAM – If you want Keto Fried Ice cream, crunch up these rinds and roll them in ice cream. Add some Lily’s dark chocolate or Choc Zero with some sugar-free whipped cream and you have a treat.

Cinnamon Keto Pork Rinds
Ingredients
- 1 (3.5 ounce) bag pork rinds
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/4 cup erythritol, (see note)
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Add the pork rinds to a gallon Ziploc bag or a large tupperware. Pour the butter in and shake the bag to coat the pork rinds. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar in the bag and shake to coat.
- If eating right away, no further step is needed. If storing and saving for later, follow the steps in the notes.
These are so good. I used monk fruit sweetener.
Thank you!
I don’t see any notes about storage?
We store in an airtight container.
Nice “sweet” crunch for those who want to remain keto.
I’ll probably check the extent of saltiness within each brand of pork rinds, and may use unsalted butter if the salt is already sufficient.
These are delicious! I miss getting churros at theme parks since I’m on keto – this hits the spot!!
So happy to hear that!
My hubby wanted something crunchy. He gets the munchies when he’s in a lot of pain. So I made these. We used monk fruit / allulose blend because erythritol bothers his stomach. OMG!! They were soooooo good! I can’t believe I never took the time to make these before!
So glad you liked them.
how much stevia powder would I use
I haven’t tried it with Stevia powder. Sorry!
Will these kick you out of ketosis or slow you down at all?
Every person reacts to eyrithtol differently but it shouldn’t kick you out of ketosis.
Life changing keto recipe!!! Being on Keto, I miss the satisfying crunchy, salty, savory, sweetness that chips or pretzels provide. This is so easy and taste just like churros. I would make this even if I wasn’t on a low carb diet. This recipe is a keeper and I love how everything used is a pantry staple for us anyways! Like many others here, I’ve eaten it so many ways. My fav keto recipe ever!!!
Thank you Sherry! So happy to hear that.
What kind of butter are you using if you don’t mind me asking?
I use Kerigold butter.
Whomwoild hav thought .. I avoided the swerve but this was awesome for my purpose ..
Do you use granulated or confectioners Swerve?
We use granulated
Made these for the first time and I’m hooked. Absolutely delicious.
Glad you loved them!
Just what I’ve been looking for! Sweet, crunchy and cinnamon! Perfection!
Awesome!
I bought the brand EPIC, I think its called, and they are baked with no salt. They taste weird, no flavor, just the weird flavor of the pork. I wanted to make fried chicken with them too. Any suggestions? Can I add anything to flavor them or am I better off buying the fried? I bought 4 bags on Amazon, they came that way.
WE love this brand. They sell it at our grocery store, walmart, and Costco.

These are awesome! I used unsalted butter, monk fruit sweetner, cinnamon. They and turned out great! Perfect for the keto sweet tooth!
Thank you! I’m glad you liked them.
Omg where have these been all my life?! So good. The soggier the more like a churro they are. I ended up not having another sweetener so I used splenda And they came out great. Thanks for this! Afterwards I looked up cinnamon flavored pork rinds which you can find on amazon… 15 dollars!!! Umm I think I’m make these instead. 🤣
Oh I skipped the oven all together. Ate them right out of the bag.
Totally! We just bought stuff to make them tonight!
How many servings is this, please? ^_^
6 servings!
I can’t even believe how good this is. Thank you so much for this recipe! I tried it shaken up in the bag, I tried it baked, I tried it with unsweetened almond milk, and I am so happy I can have such a yummy sweet treat without breaking my diet!! Very, very similar to the real thing. Absolutely genius. Thanks again!!
So happy you liked it. We just made a batch!
I have Stevia packets, how many would you recommend ?
Not sure how much is in each packet.
I used 6 Truvia packets, couple shakes of cinnamon and the 1/4 cup butter (unsalted)… perfect!
Very good, educational and good recipe. Recommend it.
Could I use stevia sweetener for these?
Yes of course!
How long do these last if you don’t eat them right away? Also do they need to be refrigerated?
We don’t refrigerate ours and keep them up to a week or so.
I have never seen unsalted rinds!
Yes, I think they are all salted.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! This totally satisfied my sweet craving.
It’s a good one.
Do you use pork rinds with salt or are there unsalted? I don’t think I have ever seen those.
These sound great!
Mine never say salted or unsalted. Hmm. I currently use Mambi brand. I think all are salted.
Can splenda be used as a sweetener and remain keto friendly?
