Cranberry and Feta Pinwheels
Cranberry and Feta Pinwheels have a sweet and salty combo that is the perfect Christmas appetizer. The sweet cranberries with the tangy feta and onions make this 5 ingredient appetizer not only easy but delicious. I like to use spinach tortillas for an extra holiday touch.

CRANBERRY AND FETA PINWHEELS
How was your Thanksgiving? We had a nice spread. About 12 pies for 8 adults. We are still eating the leftovers.
My belt that I was wearing literally popped off my body as we were eating pie. I should have known better than to wear one. I swore I was never eating again and then 4pm the day after Thanksgiving I found myself fork in hand, eating pie.
After every holiday I get the holiday blues the next day. All of the excitement building up to the actual day and then BAM it’s over.
Which is why I’m quickly moving on to Christmas. Too soon? Eh. Here we go.
These Cranberry and Feta Pinwheels are delightful. Only 5 ingredients and you have a festive crowd pleaser. You definitely have to like feta.
Obviously I do because this Feta Dip is one of my favorites. But I almost felt like I cheated. It was almost too easy to be that good.
Here’s the lineup of ingredients: cream cheese, feta, cranberries, and green onions.
I used these spinach tortillas for a festive look. You could also use wheat tortillas. You just want to use something other than white tortillas so that the filling contrasts the tortilla and really pops!
Spread the filling all the way to the edges.
You can even make a tree out of them for Christmas!

Notes
Make sure you don't use reduced fat feta. It's too dry for these.

These look great! Do you think I could leave out the onions? Thank you!
Very good base recipe! To send it over the top, I added bacon, walnuts, and garlic herb seasoning! After softening cream cheese I mixed in the craisins and feta then sprinkled the rest on after spreading the mixture on the tortillas
Thanks for the tips!!
I adore this recipe! I first tried it a couple of years ago and have prepared it numerous times since. It serves as a fantastic standalone appetizer or a delightful addition to a charcuterie board. Thanks for sharing this recipe with the world!!
Thanks Robyn!
do you think whipped cream cheese would work?
Yes!
Love this recipe .
Can you freeze these logs
Yes!
FANTASTIC…THANKS
😋😋😋 When it comes to partying….. these are the way you want to roll!!!!! DELICIOUS!! 😋😋😋
Thank you!
Love this recipe! I add pine nuts and it takes it over the top! Thanks for all the yummy recipes!
Ooh delicious.
These were such a hit! Thanks for sharing.
You’re welcome!
Made these for Christmas @ work snacks. Love the filling! Thinking it could be switched up with some well-drained pineapple tidbits for the cranberries. Thanks for the easy, yummy appy recipe!
Thank you!
Has any tried cream cheese instead?
That actually sounds better than feta.
Thanks for any tips!!!
The recipe calls for both cream cheese and feta. 🙂
I made these for a poker night with friends and they were not a big hit. I followed directions exactly. Just kind of a weird taste combination was the feedback. Not horrible but probably won’t make again.
These are so good and I have made them a couple times for Christmas parties, and now Halloween too (by request of one of my kids)! For a more Halloween-y color scheme, I substituted chopped dried apricots for the cranberries and threw in a shredded carrot too, and they came out really well. Just thought I’d pass along the idea.
Great idea!
These look so good! I wish I was eating this for lunch today!

Thanks!
Can you use gorgonzola or could you suggest another cheese?
You definitely could use gorgonzola!
Made these for a Christmas get together last week and a big hit. Use the whipped cream cheese to make this easier to mix and spread.
Great Idea to use whipped!
I absolutely love these pinwheels. I have made them many times for my card group. I switched out the cranberries for dried cherries. Everybody raves about them and they are so easy!
So glad you liked them.
Cherries sound awesome!!! Thank you for the tip!!!
This was great going to make them for drop in
Can you use fresh cranberries that have been cooked down with sugar.?
Absolutely!
How about a dash of cayenne?
Recipe worked well for 2 large tortillas. I took the advice and sprinkled cranberries (and walnuts) on after smearing on the cheese. Cheese smearing worked well with back of a fork. Next time I will add orange or lime zest. Thank you.
You’re welcome!
Serves these Christmas Eve and they were a complete flop. Very pretty ona dish. No one liked them including me! I think they would be better with a honey nut cream cheese and walnuts or pecans added. I won’t be make them again.
Just finished making for the 2nd year. Husband even made sure I found the exact Recipe. I used the Big “tortillas” added Walnuts this year. And yes, Cream Cheese has to Soften. My family loves them. Merry Christmas from Texas.
I use spinach tortillas for the tree and wheat ones for a trunk! Use an angel or star cookie cutter to make a tree-topper out of a block of cheddar cheese…
They were good but needs some crunch. I would add some toasted pecans to make them great.
Can I use ragular cream cheese?
YES!
Love these! Now a holiday regular.
Thank you!
I made these and doubled ingredients. I used the spreadable cream cheese which I left on the counter to soften for a couple of hours. I sprinkled with chopped walnuts before rolling up.They turned out perfect!! I got 5 large spinach wraps out of them. YUM!!!
I think nuts are a great addition.
Made this ahead for a party, had to try them and they are tasty. Will be keeping this recipe around. Best part fast, easy and no cooking involved. Every thing I do is so time consuming that I’m always cooking a week in advance. Nice to have something that taste good and is fast.
Glad to know you loved them!
I just made these for the first time. They are DELICIOUS. My littlest, who helped me make them, couldn’t get enough of them. She’s declared that she is going to eat at least half of them at our party tonight! I read the comments before making, and wanted to say that I used my kitchenaid stand mixer to blend the cheeses together, which made it really easy to spread. I also used an offset spatula to spread it, and as one person suggested, we pressed in the cranberries into the cheese mixture after spreading the cheese. This helped us get an even spread of cranberry, and made the cheese that much easier to spread too. Thank you for this recipe!!!
Ooh thanks for that tip!
Recipe Tip * Mix all ingredients except the cranberries. Spread the cheese mixture then sprinkle the cranberries on top of the mixture to avoid tearing the tortilla wraps. Nice recipe enjoyed by all !!
i would suggest doubling the recipe to have enough filling to make the logs look like they do on the video.
I tripled this recipe last year and they where a Big hit. They disappeared rather quickly I might add.
Had requests to make them again this year but also requested that I make more than last year.
Family don’t ask for much so of course; ‘ask and they shall receive’.
Love hearing that!
I adjusted the recipe so the filling really is almost too much for 2 tortillas so I don’t think doubling is necessary.
I haven’t tasted mine yet but was just wondering if anyone had trouble spreading the cream cheese? I finally had to use my fingers and sprayed them with a little Pam. Also the tortillas kind of ripped a little. Maybe my cream cheese wasn’t softened enough? Otherwise they are very festive looking and I would add pecans the next time!
You definitely want the cream cheese at room temperature.
This is exactly the type of appetizer I was looking for for a quick party I’m having tonight. THANKS!!! I’m sure they’ll be delish.
Thank you!
Just added these to my party menu! Has anyone made them the night before with success??
YEs. You can actually make the log a couple days before and then slice the day of for best results.
i made these for our light lunch yesterday and they were a HIT! love them!
Yay!! THanks for telling me.
Can you make them and refrig overnight, or does the tortilla get soggy?
The tortilla does not get soggy in the fridge overnight.
I’m definitely gonna make these this Christmas eve for our family festivities
They’re just perfect for that.
I just wanted to add a note that i actually added shredded chicken to this recipe to make these a little more hardy for a heavy apps baby shower and it was delicious. Not to mention it makes the recipe go a little further. I added chicken until I thought the consistency was good – probably around 1 cup to 1.5 cups? Thanks for the recipe – definitely will be using again!
Thank you Amy. Great idea!
These sound great! Curious if I could use goat cheese instead of feta? And any recommendations for substitutes for green onions? I’m a brat and don’t like green onions. 😁
You can use red onions or any kind of onion. Goat cheese would be great!
Beware. This recipe makes just about 2 tortillas, u would have to double this recipe to have it fill 4. Very disappointing as I am making them for a party this evening and don’t have enough ingredients. I had to open the first tortilla to steal some ingredients away just to make 2. Enough for 6 people to have 2 each.
I’m sorry Jane. What size tortilla did you use?
I was able to fill about four (spreading thinly) and I used the big wraps just like the author suggests. Once I sliced them up the next day they were plenty. I added some chopped walnuts, and also a little bit of sour cream because it was so thick and hard to spread. I wondered if I was doing something wrong. In any case, they are delicious!
Would this work with some spinach pancakes as well? Thank you
Hmm. I think spinach pancakes would be too thin but I’m not sure what they are really.
I just made these and doubled the recpie. I barely got five out of the mixture. The filling tastes great but your recipe will not cover to the edge four of the same spinach tortillas that you used. I loved the flavor just not. Enough filling.
These look so amazing, what a great addition to my Christmas appetizer party. Thanks!
These look delicious. I often make pinwheels for in my lunch box, they are so easy and they make lunch time a bit special. These are perfect for the coming weeks, if only they would sell spinach tortillas here…
You don’t have to use spinach. I just like the color.
I like that green color of the wraps 🙂 combination of flavors is so yummy!
Thank you!
THis looks so good. And simple 🙂 will definitely make these

Thank you. I hope you do!
Aww, these are just so FESTIVE! Love them! And they look really simple, but impressive too. Great for parties!
Thank you!
If a person doesn’t like Feta cheese can a person use all cream cheese in this recipe?
Yes, definitely. It does add some saltiness though. You could even add some chopped pecans.
Good, ’cause I hate Feta Cheee.
Love these feta pinwheels and make them every Christmas. Making them with spinach tortillas is perfect and never thought of doing that. I’ll switch it up this year! These are one of our favorite appetizers and I can’t wait to have these again.
Ooh! I’m glad they’re tried and true.
