MARRY ME CHICKEN RECIPE

It seems like Marry Me Chicken is having a moment and I’m all in.

However, I needed a slow cooker version because of our crazy schedules. When I say you can just throw this in and disappear into carpool world for four hours, I knew you would be in too.

INGREDIENTS

  • BONELESS SKINLESS CHICKEN BREASTS – I’ve also used chicken tenderloins and love the texture.
  • HEAVY CREAM AND CHICKEN BROTH – These make up the sauce which we thicken with cornstarch.
  • SPICES – All the spices make this flavorful and savory.
  • BUTTER
  • SUNDRIED TOMATOESMarry Me Chicken in a crock pot

HOW TO MAKE THIS

  1. Place the chicken in the bottom of a slow cooker.Crock Pot Marry Me Chicken
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the chicken broth and cornstarch. Pour the broth and the cream over the chicken. Sprinkle with the garlic and the seasonings. Top wit the butter and sun dried tomatoes.Marry Me Chicken in a crock pot
  3. Cook on high for 3-4 hours or on low for 6 hours. Stir in the Parmesan cheese before serving. Serve chicken whole or shred if desired. Serve over rice, pasta, or mashed potatoes. Garnish with fresh basil.
