CREAM CHEESE FRUIT DIP RECIPE
I’ll be honest. I used to eat this classic marshmallow fruit dip with graham crackers but fruit is a much healthier option. Like a fruit charcuterie board.
This is the perfect dip to add in the center of your fruit tray at for birthday parties, bridal showers, baby showers, or family gatherings. You can use any variety of fruits.
INGREDIENTS
- Marshmallow Fluff – marshmallow cream gives this dip its sweetness and fluffy texture. Some recipes use Cool Whip but this version is much more stable. You could also use vanilla yogurt for a less sweet yogurt fruit dip.
- Cream Cheese – softened cream cheese creates a solid base and a counterpart to the sweet marshmallow. If you really wanted to lighten this up use Greek yogurt.
- (optional) Vanilla Extract – not required but ups the vanilla taste but does change the color of the dip from bright white to dimmer.

Never have heard of Mashmallow Fluff, what is it? And where can I find it?
It’s right next to the marshmallows usually or peanut butter in some cases.
I haven’t had this dip since my mom made it, many years ago. It’s strawberry season here in New York state and somewhere between freezing my second and third flat this popped into my head. I’m holding off until tomorrow to make it so my daughter can have some but the waiting’s been hard!Â
Awesome!
A smidge of cinnamon to this and take it to another level.
I also added some greek yogurt to mine and it went further and tasted wonderful, less sweet but wonderful. Better for kiddo’s too.
I also use fruit flavored kefir as a dip sometimes, too. Last one was blueberry flavored and I dipped water crackers and chunks of sharp cheddar cheese. YUM.
Thank you!
Besides fruit; I have even dipped graham crackers, & animal crackers as well. Really good stuff.
Recipe so easy that I think my dear hubby could make this and believe me; a cook he isn’t.
Ha awesome!
