Happy Fall Y’all Cookie Jars

We are about to come into my favorite time of year and while we are enjoying the last few weeks of summer I’m beginning to have fall on the brain. I dream of cool evenings, dressing in layers and shopping for a new fall wardrobe. I also dream of food. Let’s face it, I always dream of food. I normally don’t bake during the summer but since we had a really mild season I found myself firing up the oven a few times. Most recently I whipped up a batch of double chocolate cookies and adorned them with some festive confetti sprinkles and oh-so-yummy Candy Corn M&Ms. And since cookies are better when shared I put together these adorable “Happy Fall Y’all” Cookie Jars that can be shared with all of the favorite people in my life.

I love the wide mouth mason jars so that’s what I used for these cookie jars. I made standard size cookies using my cookie scoop and when baked they fit perfectly in the jar. Each jar holds about 5-6 cookies. Of course no gift is complete without a gift tag or card so you can download these “Happy Fall Y’all” by following the download instructions at the bottom of this post.

The best thing about this idea is that you can fill the jar with anything you want. If you aren’t a baker you may want to fill it up with chocolate kisses, candy corn or M&Ms. No matter what you decide you can be sure that the recipient will appreciate the gesture.

If you love the cookie idea but aren’t sure which recipe to make I recommend my favorite Chocolate Chip Cookies, Peaches n Cream Cookies, Pumpkin Cheesecake Cake Batter Cookies or White Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Cookies.

Here’s a few more ideas to use for this Happy Fall Ya’ll Jars

Pumpkin Spice Pretzel Bites

I'm a Jesus lovin' girl who lives in NY with her police officer husband and 3 kids. I love to create projects with a quick turn around time but I'm not afraid of tackling projects that require more time and power tools. I enjoy making free printables and can make a mean chocolate chip cookie.
