PEPPERONI CHEESE STICK ROLL-UPS
I know it feels a bit inconsistent around here bouncing back and forth from healthy to naughty dishes.
But there’s just so much food and so little time.
I realize that I’m posting about rolling premade dough, pepperoni, and cheese sticks being rolled up and baked. How hard is that?
These are almost like these Pizza Rolls or these Stuffed Pizza Rolls, but definitely the easiest of all of them. I made these for my kids in under five minutes.
But they aren’t just for kids…adults devour them too.
The garlic butter glaze on top is definitely not a necessity but if you are serving them for adults it adds some flavor and makes them look a little nicer.
HOW TO MAKE PEPPERONI CHEESE STICK ROLL-UPS
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Take each triangle of crescent roll dough and place about 6 pepperoni on the bottom of the triangle. Place half of a cheese stick on top and roll up. Place seam side down on a cookie sheet and bake for 10-14 minutes or until golden brown.
- While rolls are cooking, combine the melted butter, Italian seasonings, garlic powder and Parmesan cheese in a small bowl.
- When rolls are done remove from the oven and brush with the garlic butter glaze. Serve with marinara or ranch for dipping.
Arrange the pepperoni on the crescent dough and place half a cheese stick on top.
Roll up and bake.
Bake until golden brown.

Do you bake them before you freeze them?
I would!
Really enjoyed these. My daughter loves crescent rolls, but I get so sick of them. It was nice to split a tube so she could have her plain rolls and I could have something tastier. Definitely a keeper. Thanks!!
Thank you!
So so so good.
I will definitely keep the ingredients on hand for when I need something quick to make for dinner!
Thank you!
Thank you!
Can’t wait to make this 😍
Thank you!
Can I make these a week in advance and freeze securely and they will be fine? To eat once frozen do you take out and defrost at room temperature or put them right into the oven froen..
You could put them right in the oven from frozen
I would like a good recipe for potato soup?
Did you slice the pepperoni?
I don’t!
Could you brush butter on before baking?
Yes!
So delicious! Paired these with a salad for a quick and easy dinner. With so much cooking during quarantine, it was nice to have something simple.

How many does it make?
Makes 8!
I have recently added this to the menu for my housewarming/engagement party! The kids (& adults I’m sure) are going to love these! My only question is how many does the recipe yield? I’m writing up a shopping list now and want to be sure we can make enough of these to go around. 🙂
P.S.- I’m a dork. Rereading, it yields 8. Sorry about that. Still waking up. Looking forward to making these HAHAHA
No worries!

regards,
looks very tasty, I wanted to try this recipe. I also have a sepertitu recipe, you can try it out here
Looks great and really easy to make. Just a question or two… In the video, it looks like your pepperoni is cooked (a little crispy around the edges), but it doesn’t mention that in the recipe. Also, the garlic butter, can you put that on before you bake them?
It’s definitely personal preference if you want to precook the pepperoni or not. You could definitely add the glaze on before baking.
This sounds so tasty and so delicious.. hmmm..,
mmmm.. nyummyy
my mouth get wet for only seee those pictures
Do you cut the pepperoni’s in halves or fourths? I see in the picture you cut yours up!I am about make 5 batches for the first time for dinner! 🙂 🙂 🙂
I do both. I like it better probably in fourths so that it’s easier to eat.
hmmm yummy…
I want these Pepporoni Cheese Stick Rollups right now!!
Will these hold up in a crockpo for an hour or 2?
Hmm. Not sure. They should be fine on warm but I have not tried it.

thankyou for recipe 🙂
You’re welcome!
I make this for me and my kids for dinner. If you brush melted butter and sprinkle Parmesan cheese it tastes even better!
Ooh yum! For sure!
I was looking for something easy that I could make using ingredients I already have. I didn’t have exactly what I needed to make pizza, so these should be the next best thing.
Totally making these, then refrigerating them and putting them in my lunch. Great if you like cold pizza. I wonder if I could put some pizza sauce inside them??
what kind of Cheese did you use to make these?
I used polly-o string cheese.
I would like to make these for a tailgate on Saturday. The only problem is, I will be in a hotel Friday night so I would have to make them on Thursday evening. Do you think they will still be fresh after a day and a half? Please advise!
Honestly they are best straight out of the oven to keep the cheese melted.

I made these yesterday for a small hors d’oeuvres party with my neighbors. I used olive oil and italian seasoning with garlic for my spread on top though. Do you think you can premake these and freeze or refrigerate them for later? If so, how long do you think they would last?
Since prepackaged dough isn’t meant to be out long before baked, I would only do it the same day personally. I could be wrong though.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on healthy food recipes blogs.
