The Top 14 Recipes of 2014
The Top 14 recipes of 2014 on The Girl Who Ate Everything. The first 10 recipes are the ones that you guys liked the most and the last 4 are recipes that I fell in love with that didn’t quite make the list.
I may earn commissions for purchases made through links on this post.
#1. Taco Lasagna – I was a little surprised that this made #1 not because it’s not great but because the sweets usually reign in popularity. Only 7 ingredients in this family friendly meal.
#2. Melted Snowmen Oreo Balls – In less than a month these got over 300,000 pins on Pinterest and were viewed over 1.5 million times on Facebook. And you know it’s a popular recipe when there’s a Pinterest Fail about it. I’ve been making Oreo Truffles for years now but I can see how if you’re making them for the first time there could be some learning curves and some snowmen that look a little too melted. 🙂#3. Melt In Your Mouth Pumpkin Cookies – These truly are melt in your mouth. Add them to your fall baking list every year. #4. Baked Spaghetti – Aren’t we all look for family friendly meals. Everyone loves spaghetti and this baked version is no exception.
#5. Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins – These is the only recipe you need and you agreed.
#6. Mini Garlic Monkey Bread – Garlic, butter, and bread. Yep. I can see why you picked this!
#7. How to Cut Watermelon Into Sticks – I will never cut watermelon any other way.
#8. Jalapeno Popper Chicken Sliders – This are so easy and great for an appetizer or light dinner.
#9. Swig Sugar Cookies – I think I ate my weight in these this year. If you’ve never been to Swig, make your own at home!
#10. One-Pan Cheesy Chicken, Broccoli, and Rice – This is a meal I often turn to when it’s 5 pm and I have no idea what’s for dinner.
And 4 more of my personal favorites that almost made your top 10 but didn’t quite make it:
#11: Buffalo Chicken and Potato Casserole – This is Dude Food at its finest. Seasoned to perfection and covered in cheese. I couldn’t stop eating this. #12: Appledoodles and Snickerdoodles: Both of these almost made the top 10 but came a little shy. Snickerdoodles and its cousin the Appledoodle (the fall version of a Snickerdoodle), are some of my favorite cookies. #13: Taco Pizza Rolls – Simple and easy. Who doesn’t like taco meat rolled up in pizza dough? #14: Warm Bacon and Cheese Dip – Something about warm dip with sourdough bread makes my soul happy.
2014 was a great year and I have a feeling that 2015 will be even better.
How do I get one of your printed cook books?
